We have been having the usual busy time here at Sealpin Kennels this surnmer. We have had many visitors from all parts of the world, it is always enjoyable to Edward to show off his dogs to any interested visitors!

Apologies are due to the many friends and clients who were expecting to see Edward at The Game Fair down in Hampshire. There were a couple of the Cocker Litters on the go and we actually celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at about the same time, so unfortunately for Edward, the family scene won the day!!

Miss Alexandrovna, had nine puppies to Sandford Black Mamba, all black and white and very attractive so far. We have kept four on, to watch their development, we have several clients awaiting part trained cockers, so can do the job,as we watch the potential for different careers, for them all.

Sealpin Raquettes, her daughter, had four puppies to Jenoran Dougal, these are a few weeks younger and flying about the place with no fear or favour and will stay on awhile, for the same reason.

We have successfully exported a lovely yellow bitch,to the States, by Sealpin Enigma. A young Dog Sealpin Ferrari Finish, has gone to Belgium, he is a fine young Labrador with bags of potential for work and Stud, with excellent hips and eyes,we wish him well in his new situation.

Two further daughters of Sealpin Enigma (Digby) have been doing very well for their new owners in Switzerland winning a Working Test and in Sweden a First Place in a Cold Game Test, for Bitte Sjoblom.Well done girls, keep up the good work!

Our Labrador bitches will be coming into season again shortly, in fact we have already mated Sealpin Messalina with Rondo, again. We did not keep any of her puppies last year and really regretted it, as we have had a couple back for training and they are super young dogs, very handsome and very keen to work. A great combination.

We are looking forward to the winter season, picking up on grouse already in full swing, a varied picture showing, depending on the moor and even the particular beat. Trial entries being filled in with eager anticipation of success in the field, after the time spent at home in preparation.Edward has enjoyed the company of our grandson Joe, this summer, he has been working in the kennels for his summer holidays and enjoying some time training on the bill with Grandpa, including shooting his first rabbit, which, of course had to be photographed!

Sealpin Phoebe has gone to a wonderfull retirement home with shooting people. She had been a great member of the A-Team and also produced some very fine litters. We wish her a good hunting retirement.

If any of you have queries we are always willing to talk dog talk and the e-mail continiues to take time daily to sort through, great communications and good hunting!
